
Douglas Breithaupt is the Director of Clinical Affairs for Advanced Hearing Services, Inc. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Audiology from Ithaca College. He joined our affiliated company, Otolaryngology Associates, in 1976 and later tranisitioned to Advanced Hearing Services. He established the inpatient Audiology Department at the Inova Fairfax Hospital and was a founding member of the Inova Fairfax Hospital Cranio-Facial Rehabilitation Team. He is licensed as an audiologist and hearing aid dispenser by the Commonwealth of Virginia and certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Lori is a new addition to our group. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders in 2004 from James Madison University and her Doctorate of Audiology from James Madison University in 2008. She is trained in the evaluation of individuals with dizziness and balance disorders. She also specializes in electrophysiological measures.
Rebecca Levy has been with our Centreville office since 2004. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Brandeis University of Massachusetts and her Master's Degree in Audiology from the University of Virginia. She is licensed in the state of Virginia in both audiology and hearing aid dispensing. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Christine Sofie joined the practice in 1995 and has been serving our Reston patients since 1997. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University and a Master's Degree in Audiology from George Washington University. She recieved her Doctor of Audiology degree in 2004 from the Arizona Schooll of Health Sciences. In addition to being licensed in Virginia as an audiologist and hearing aid specialist, she is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a professional member of the Hearing Loss Association of America.
Carol is a recent addition to our group and to northern Virginia, has been a practiciing audiologist since 1985. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston College in 1983 and her Master of Science in Audiology from Northeastern University in 1985. Ms. Hudner has held a variety of clinical audiology positions and most recently was a staff member of the Hearing Technology Center of the Children's Hospital Boston. She has extensive experience in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology, including pediatric hearing and adult advanced digital hearing aid dispensing.
Molly joined the practice in 2008. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 2003 from West Virginia University and her Doctorate of Audiology from West Virginia University in 2007. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Her clinical interests include adult and pediatric diagnositc testing and hearing aid dispensing.
