Custom Plugs

Swim, Musician & Shooters Plugs

Any patients recovering from ear infections or ear surgery, as well as those with chronic conditions such as drainage, must keep their ear canals dry to prevent more severe problems from developing. While no swim mold can create an absolutely watertight seal in the ear canal, properly fit swim molds will keep out most of the moisture that can aggravate outer ear conditions. Ideal for bathing, showering or swimming, swim molds are simply soft custom earmolds without any bore or tubing. We offer floatable swim molds, currently available in translucent and a rainbow of Neon-Lite colors, along with the traditional skin tone color.

Musicians who perform music styles noted for their loud nature, especially rock music, often wear earplugs to prevent their own performances from damaging their hearing. Musicians' earplugs are designed to attenuate sounds evenly across the frequency range and thus minimize their effect on the user's perception of bass and/or treble levels. These are commonly used by musicians and technicians, both in the studio and in concert, to avoid overexposure to high volume levels.  Musicians Earplugs are a custom product, made individually for each user and can be purchased only from licensed hearing professionals.  Musicians' earplugs are also available with different filter options matching your custom plugs to your unique auditory needs.

Exposing your ears to high level noise, such as gunfire, damages the inner ear even if experienced for just 15 minutes. The end result could be permanent hearing loss and/or ringing in the ears (tinnitus).   Earplugs commonly known as "shooters protection" restrict the amount of harmful frequncies and loud noise from damaging the ear.  In addition, the user will still have full environmental awareness, allowing them to hear normal conversation. This prevents the removal of the earplug in various environments where a risk of sudden loud noise may occur.  Shooters earplugs are also a custom product, made individually for each user and can be purchased only from licensed hearing professionals.
