Douglas H. Breithaupt, M.S., C.C.C.-A.

Douglas Breithaupt is the senior audiologist at Advanced Hearing Services and Otolaryngology Associates, our affiliated ear, nose and throat medical and surgical practice.  He has been with the practice since 1976. Prior to this he was a staff audiologist at Inova Fairfax Hospital and a member of their cranio-facial rehabilitation team. From 1974 to 1976 he was employed by the Fairfax County Health Department, initially as a staff audiologist and later as the Director of Audiology.

He is currently licensed as an audiologist and hearing aid dispenser in Virginia and Maryland. He is also a member of numerous professional organizations and actively pursues continuing education. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees in Audiology from Ithaca College.
