Kelsey D. Nielsen, Au.D., C.C.C.-A
Dr. Nielsen joined Advanced Hearing Services and Otolaryngology Associates, our affiliated ear, nose and throat medical and surgical practice, in 2010. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Towson University (Towson, MD) in May 2010, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University (Harrisonburg, VA) in May 2006. Dr. Nielsen completed her fourth year externship with the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (Towson, MD) audiology department. Dr. Nielsen completed a doctoral thesis highlighting the use of distortion product otoacoustic emissions in noise that was presented most recently at the American Academy of Audiology National Convention in San Diego, CA (April 2010). Her experience includes newborn through geriatric audiology diagnostic evaluation as well as pediatric and adult hearing aid dispensing. Currently, Dr. Nielsen is recognized as a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
